Taliban Spokesman Azam Tariq Releases Statement Through as-Sahab Productions on Youtube

as-Sahab is al-Qaeda's "production label" So here we have an official terrorist communication being released and referenced by AP on Youtube.

Via AP on Google Hosted News:PESHAWAR, Pakistan — Militants staged a pair of attacks against anti-Taliban figures in northwestern Pakistan on Sunday, killing one of the men as part of an escalating campaign to weaken the country's resolve to fight Islamic extremism.

Suspected militants have killed more than 300 civilians and security personnel in the last month in retaliation for an army offensive launched in the tribal area of South Waziristan, where al-Qaida and Taliban leaders are believed to be hiding.

The government has supplemented its military campaigns by helping tribal leaders and local government officials set up militias to battle the Taliban. The militias, known as lashkars, have been compared to Iraq's Awakening Councils, which helped U.S. forces turn the tide against al-Qaida there.

As in Iraq, militants in Pakistan have targeted the leaders of such groups.

The story goes on about recent attacks and the response of Taliban spokesman Azam Tariq.

In a video released Sunday, the group denied the allegations, saying it was focused on attacking the Pakistani government and did not believe in killing civilians.

Repeating conspiracy theories that have appeared in local media, Taliban spokesman Azam Tariq blamed the recent attacks, including a suicide bombing at an Islamic university in the capital, on the Pakistani government and the private security firm formerly known as Blackwater.

"The dirty Pakistani intelligence agencies, for the sake of creating mistrust and hatred among people against the Taliban, are carrying out blasts at places like the Islamic university, Islamabad, and the Khyber bazaar, Peshawar," said Tariq, who appeared in the video at the base of a large tree flanked by gunmen.

Obviously the Taliban and al-Qaeda are using this particular piece of propaganda to attempt to negate the damage to public opinion from some of their recent attacks. Using the same old tried and true Kkhinspiracy theories they always use.

But where did they choose to release it? Where did the AP pick it up? Why on Jihadtube of course.

What has Jihadtube done to stop this terrorist propaganda from being hosted on their service?

Answer: Diddly squat.

It looks like Joseph "Yousef al-Khattab" Cohen and Younis "Yes-I-do-A-to-M-for Joey" Abdullah Mohammed have finally gotten their wish and are fast becoming the Anjem Choudary and Trevor "Abu Izzadeen" Brooks of the US. Last night Younis was on AC360 and CNN has this report of their activities:

Protected by the Constitution of the country they detest, radical Muslim converts like Yousef al-Khattab and Younes Abdullah Mohammed preach that the killing of U.S. troops overseas is justified. In their thinking, so were the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States -- and so are attacks on almost any American....

Al-Khattab and Mohammed consider al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden their model.

"I love him like I can't begin to tell you, because he doesn't seem to have done anything wrong from the sharia," al-Khattab said, referring to Islamic law. "If you're asking me if I love him as a Muslim, I love him more than I love myself."

I feel partly responsible for their ill gotten fame. But mostly I blame Howie.

But it gets better as Joey now is admitting publicly what we've all known privately for some time: that he's friends with terrorists:

Neil Bryant Vinas, a young New Yorker who has pleaded guilty to plotting to attack trains on the Long Island Rail Road, met with al-Khattab. Al-Khattab said Vinas and "some brothers" traveled to Atlantic City, New Jersey, and had dinner with him. Al-Khattab said they considered him something of a hero because he left Israel and converted to Islam.

Al-Khattab also claims friendships with Tarek Mehanna, now under indictment in Boston, Massachusetts, on charges of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, and Daniel Maldonado, who pleaded guilty before a federal judge in Texas to receiving military training from Islamic militants in Somalia.

I'll note that before hooking up in meat world that Cohen most certainly met up with Mehanna, Maldonado, and Vinas on the internet.

In a recent post about Yousef's site I said

You know one of these days Joey is going to incite someone to actually kill someone. Maybe then it will be taken seriously. I hope it doesn't come to that but that seems to be what is going to take.

It appears from this article that I was all too prophetic. Has anyone died yet due to Yousef's activities? I'm not sure, but lets not wait to find out.

Its clear that Yousef al-Khattab's admitted buddy Tarek Mehanna knew what he was doing.

MEHANNA also sought to provide material support to al Qa'ida and other terrorist organizations by translating and distributing videos and text that were intended to inspire others to participate in jihad.


Among those translations, the proffer alleges, was a document called "39 Ways to Serve and Participate in Jihad." An online correspondent of Mehanna said the work was establishing him as "Al Qaeda's English wing" and "Al Qaeda in Iraq's media wing."

Is that any different than Younis distributing al-Qaeda propaganda?

Not IMO. The indictment on Mehanna shows these people know exactly what they are doing, no matter how carefully they word their "disclaimer".

Jihadtube, "DOD Videos are Bad Mkay"

This afternoon I had a troll show up on one of my Youtube threads.

Peaceinlifenowar has made a comment on Coalition Forces Kill Terrorist Gun Camera:

hey Darthodieus CORRECT THE DAMN TITLE WHICH SAYS "TERRORIST" TO RESISTANCE FIGHTER OK, iraqies are not invading themselves the US IS!.

His point being that you know using a hellfire missile against an al-Qaeda mortar team was "terrorism". You know, the standard terror apologist's line.

Shortly afterward I received a notice from Youtube

The funny thing is I don't think the video does violate Youtube's TOS. It was a standard sanitized DOD video released by DVIDS. Black and white video with no close up gore or violence. Just an al-Qeada mortar team firing and the camera follows their attempted escape and then boom. The very same type of video that is shown on the nightly news. On top of that the video was over 12 months old and had over 50,000 views.

So the end result is I ended up with a strike against my Youtube account and the public can no longer see a prime example of our forces at work targeting those who should be targeted.

But look at my last Jihadtube post. There are Taliban users, al-Qaeda supporters and two copies of a very graphic al-Qaeda in Iraq release featuring the desecration of the decomposed body of Major Troy Gilbert.

Why is it that Youtube responds so quickly to the complaints of terror supporting rectums like Peaceinlifenowar, yet refuses repeatedly to remove the propaganda of wartime enemies who are out there killing our troops and innocent Muslims EVERY FREAKING DAY?

I mean just look at this video that was just uploaded by a Hamas supporter complaining that the innocent Hamas members who just happen to be armed were targeted by Israeli "terrorists". It is extremely graphic, the user just made one mistake, he forgot to edit out all the weapons the rescuers were finding.

Who's side is Jihadtube on anyway?

I guess you all already know the answer to that don't you?

Enemy propaganda = good. US propaganda = bad.
